Day 1: Nairobi- Transfer To Amboseli National Park
On arrival, find one of self drive Kenya representative with a placard containing your name. You will then be escorted to your 4×4 safari jeep, for a 5-6 hours’ transfer to Amboseli National Park.
Lunch will find you settled in your lodge, followed by an afternoon rest, then later take an evening game drive. Expect to see many free range Elephants, for which the park is famous. Other additional animals include, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes, Lions among others.
Return for dinner and an overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Take the early morning game drive, before breakfast, so as to catch up the predators like Leopards, cheetah and lions while they are from hunting since they are rarely seen when the sun is hot.
Return for breakfast and lunch, then later proceed for an evening game drive. Retire for dinner and an overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast at leisure, exit the park, and head for a thrilling maasai cultural experience, where you will be able to learn how: to naturally make fire, to say a prayer before they set off for hunting, to grind millet as well as join in the Maasai dance.
Thereafter, depart for Lake Naivasha , with an enroute stop over in Nairobi for lunch and at the Great Rift Valley View Point for photography.
You will arrive in the hotel to check in, then later on dinner will be served, followed by an overnight rest.
Day 4: Full Day Hell’s Gate
After breakfast, set off for Hell’s Gate National Park for a guided cycling &walking tour.
The hell’s gate is one among the best lowland parks in Kenya , that allows for walking or cycling among wild animals such as zebras, Buffaloes, reticulated giraffes, warthogs, Thomson gazelle, antelope, cheeter, and leopard as well as numerous bird species.
After, you can proceed to the Olkaria Geothermal power station, to witness how geothermal energy is manufactured and processed.
You can also visit the Olkaria Spa where natural water from different wells collects through different small pipes into the main pipes that leads water to the pool. The spa is also believed to have solutions for many skin problems, because the warm water contains many minerals including highest percentage of sulphur.
Lunch will be enroute, while dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
Day 5: Depart for Lake Naivasha and Hell’s gate national Park.
Rise up in the morning for breakfast, and proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to the crescent Island so that to walk by the help of an experienced and Knowledgeable guide among the giraffes, zebras, water-bucks, impalas and numerous bird species.
Chances are that, some visitors might spot a leopard, although its not common.( It’s also a good spot for a picnic lunch for those on a full day excursion).
Return for lunch, then proceed to Lake Nakuru national Park, where you will reach in time perfect for an evening game drive enroute to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight sleep.
Day 6: Morning game drive – Transfer to Lake Nakuru
Wake up early for morning game drive before mid morning breakfast so as to catch up the predators and other animals like Zebras, Bufalloes, Rhinos, Warthogs, water buck, rare Black & White Rhinoes. and other animals the prey while grazing on wet grassland. See the sunrise and return to the campsite for a full breakfast, check out, and proceed to Masai mara National Reserve.
Day 7: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve
Following your morning breakfast, and take the full day game drive which starts at 0630 hrs. You will drive through the beautiful Savannah landscape and the impressive rolling hills. Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s best destination for game watching at close range. Picnic lunch will be served near the hippo pool, as you watch the hippos and crocodiles.
Return to the Lodge for dinner, Bornfire and an overnight
You can also close the day with a visit to the Maasai community for an incredible cultural experience (but at an extra fee).
Day 8: Return to Nairobi
Take the early morning game drive before mid-morning breakfast, and later leave Maasai Mara behind for Nairobi. You will be dropped at your post 8 days accommodation or at the Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
