Mgahinga national park-Gorilla Self drive Safari

Mgahinga gorilla national park can easily be accessed by visitors on a 4×4 self-drive drive car hire. Self Drive Kenya advises you to start your journey from Entebbe or Kampala via Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, Kisoro and then to Ntebeko park headquarters.

Mgahinga Gorilla national Park is also called a place where gold meets silver and is the smallest national park in Uganda. The park is a home to rare primates, mountain gorillas and the golden monkeys that can only be found in this park. The volcanic peaks can be climbed which provides a stunning 360 panorama while Sabinyos highest peak offers the rare privilege of standing over 3600m high whilst in the three countries at once. A range of habitats including forest, bamboo, and moorland support a wealth of birdlife including the beautiful Rwenzori turaco. The visitor can follow the Batwa trail to learn about traditional forest life.
