Day 01: Depart for Lake Bogoria Game Reserve

Start your  Kenya self-drive adventure with a scenic drive to Lake Bogoria Game Reserve. Stop for lunch en route before reaching the reserve, known for its large flocks of flamingos. This naturalist’s paradise is ideal for a peaceful walk along the shores, though it’s important to exercise caution near the hot springs. In the afternoon, drive to Lake Baringo, where you will set up your rooftop tent at the campsite for the night. Enjoy a delicious meal prepared at the campsite.

Day 02: Full Day at Lake Baringo

Spend a full day at Lake Baringo, known for its birdlife and peaceful atmosphere. Take a boat ride to Njemp Island, a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. After a day of exploration, return to your rooftop tent for an evening under the stars. All meals will be provided at the campsite.

Day 03: Depart to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and diverse bird species.

In addition to the vibrant birdlife, the park is home to a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, waterbucks, impalas, gazelles, and buffaloes. Enjoy a game drive in the park before setting up your rooftop tent at the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 04: Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, continue your journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve, passing through the scenic Narok region and entering the iconic Serengeti Plains. Arrive at the campsite by late afternoon and enjoy an exciting game drive in the reserve. Set up your rooftop tent, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 05: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Spend a full day exploring Masai Mara on a thrilling game drive. This famous reserve is home to the Big Five—elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and rhinos—along with zebra, giraffe, antelopes, hyenas, and many other wildlife species. Over 350 bird species have been recorded here as well. Return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 06: Early Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast, taking in the breathtaking views of the Mara Reserve as the sun rises. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, concluding your unforgettable self-drive safari. Return your vehicle and rooftop tent as your adventure comes to an end.
