Upon landing in Nairobi, you will pick your car at Jomo Kenyata international airport, or your hotel of residence. You will set off for Aberdare national park in your 4×4 self drive car from Self drive Kenya, arriving early for lunch at your lodge. The lodge offers high altitude game viewing of animals including giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. You can spend the night watching wild game that gather around the floodlit water hole
Dinner and Overnight at either tree top or the ark lodge
Day 2: A berdare National park to Lake Nakuru
Wake up and have breakfast, then transfer to Lake Nakuru National park, driving along the great rift valley, with an enroute stopover at the Thompson falls in Nyahururu. Continue with your drive to Lake Nakuru, reaching the lodge at lunch time. Check in, relax, and later embark on your afternoon game drive inserch for the black and white Rhinoes, for which the park is famous.
Apart from black and white rhinos, Lake Nakuru is also famous for millions of pink flamingoes, hence an ornithological haven with over 450 bird species.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an over night

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Park
On this this day, you will set out after breakfast, after which you will embark on our self drive journey to Masai Mara Reserve, for an incredible wildlife viewing tour.
Have lunch upon arrival at your lodge of residence, and head out on a n afternoon game drive across the open plains of Masai Mara Reserve. This world’s famous reserve is a home to the diverse wildlife in Kenya
Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and an overnight. You can spend most of your evening time relaxing and recollecting the highlights of the day.
Day 4: Full day game drive at Masai Mara
On this 3rd day, you will spend the whole day game driving in Masai Mara national Reserve-Kenya’s Wildlife National Park. Both morning and afternoon game drive, takes you in search of Africa’s Big five a long side other wildlife including;- Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest, zebras and hippos which are found in Big numbers, though cheetahs and leopards are not easily spotted within the park.
Besides the wild game viewing, Masai Mara also offers the most impressive natural event and truly unforgettable experience of the great wildebeests migration, together with the herds of Thompsons gazelles, Zebra topi, elands and other predators joining the parade, along the Mara river, between the months of July and August when moving northwards to Serengeti national park in search of green pastures and then southwards in October.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 5: Morning Game drive and transfer to Nairobi
Journey back to Nairobi capital city, after an early morning game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve with a lunch stop-over in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This marks the end of your 4 days self-drive safari with self-drive Kenya
