This 4 days Samburu, Lake Naivasha & Hells Gate Safari takes you to Kenya’s frequently visited National reserve of Samburu, Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to the crescent island  & hells gate to ride among wildlife, as well as visiting Olkaria.

Detailed Itinerary for  4 days Samburu, Lake Naivahsa, & Hells gate.

Day 01: Nairobi -Drive to Samburu Game Reserve.

You will be met by  a self drive Kenya driver guide who wit whom you transfer Northwards via mount Kenya to Samburu game reserve. Due to the long drive enroute, you will stop for lunch in one of the restaurants in Nanyuki, reaching Samburu Game reserve in the afternoon for relaxation.

You will, along with the driver guide set off for the evening game drive, where you might spot include, reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk and the Somali Ostrich, all of which are rare in other game parks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 02:  Full Day Exploration

Starting with a cup of coffee, very early in the morning, you will head for the morning game drive at 6:30 am, until 9:30 am, when you will return for mid-breakfast, followed by lunch and total resting in the afternoon.

Later in the evening, embark on your game drive  to see some of the beautiful creatures like the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp/hotel.

Day 03: Samburu – Lake Naivasha.

Instantly after morning breakfast, depart  for Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate National Park. Enroute, you will drive through the Northern tips of Aberdare mountains, to descend into the great Rift Valley, via the Thompsons falls for lunch, then arrive at Lake Naivasha in the evening to check in at your booked accommodation. Dinner will be served, then after an overnight rest.

Day 04: Hells gate national park – Nairobi.

Early breakfast then embark with your drive to Hell’s Gate National Park for a guided walking tour situated in Naivasha region.

The hell’s gate is one among the best lowland parks in Kenya , that allows for walking or cycling among wild animals such as zebras, Buffaloes, reticulated giraffes, warthogs, Thomson gazelle, antelope, cheeter, and leopard as well as numerous bird species.

After, you can proceed to the Olkaria Geothermal power station, to witness how geothermal energy is manufactured and processed.

You can also visit the Olkaria Spa where natural water from different wells collects through different small pipes into the main pipes that leads water the pool. The spa is also believed to have solutions for many skin problems, because the warm water contains many minerals including highest percentage of sulphur.

Lunch will be enroute, while dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Depart for Nairobi.

Rise up in the morning for breakfast, and proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to the crescent Island so that to walk  by the help of an experienced and Knowledgeable guide among the giraffes, zebras, water-bucks, impalas and numerous bird species.

Chances are that, some visitors might spot a leopard, although its not common.( It’s also a good spot for a picnic lunch for those on a full day excursion).

Return for lunch, then proceed to Nairobi to ctch up with your flight or be dropped in one of the lodges as per your  desire.
